We promote mental health, inclusion and active participation
to build stronger and more resilient youth communities across Europe.
The BeStrong Project
BESTRONG is a European project in the field of youth, born to promote social inclusion, diversity and mental health among young people. The project is placed in the framework of the priorities of the European Union, actively contributing to the dissemination of common values, the strengthening of civic engagement and the improvement of quality and innovation in youth work.
Attraverso approcci partecipativi, strumenti digitali e metodologie inclusive, BESTRONG mira a costruire comunità più forti, resilienti e consapevoli.
To whom is BeStrong addressed?
Context and Motivations
We live in increasingly multicultural societies, where the challenges of integration and mental health become urgent and interconnected. Young people with migrant backgrounds and those from host communities often face common challenges: discrimination, marginalization, psychological distress, lack of safe and inclusive spaces.
The project was born from the need to innovate non-formal learning practices and offer youth workers effective tools to address the new social, cultural and psychological needs that emerge among the young generations.
Project objectives
BESTRONG aims to:
Strengthen the skills of youth workers, particularly in the field of mental health and psychosocial support.
Promote the inclusion and active participation of young people, with a specific focus on young people with migrant backgrounds.
Improving the quality and innovation of youth work, through the use of inclusive, creative and digital methodologies.
Building stronger and more cohesive local communities, promoting intercultural dialogue and active citizenship.
Activities and Expected Results
The project envisages the creation of concrete, accessible and replicable tools in different European contexts:
